Kidsafe ACT’s shop front in the Pearce Community Centre directly supports our work with families and offers the following services:

Capsule, car seat, booster seat and harness hire.
Child Restraint Fitting and Free Restraint Checking Service.
A range of home and car safety products for sale.
A variety of car seats, boosters and harnesses for sale.
Free telephone information service.
Fact sheets, brochures and information on child safety.
Information from other organisations such as Sids and Kids, NAPCAN, The Cancer Council,
Parentlink, ACT Playgroups, St Johns Ambulance Service and many more.

Our friendly staff are all certified Child Restraint Fitters and are able to provide information on child safety and reducing the risk of unintentional injuries.

We invite Parents, Carers, Families and Friends to come in to buy, hire or enquire!

Mobile restraint checking services

Kidsafe ACT’s mobile restraint service provides a number of our key services at additional locations to improve access for the community, especially families more distant from the Kidsafe Centre at Pearce.

Our Mobile Restraint Services in Dickson and Queanbeyan provide people in these areas with car restraint hires, purchases, fittings and checks (no appointment necessary) as well as information about car seats, boosters, and general child safety.

7 – 9 McKeahnie St 10.00am to 2.00pm
