Qualifications No previous experience needed, Kidsafe ACT will provide extensive training in child injury prevention and installation of car seats. Working Conditions Kidsafe Officers spend a large amount of time outside in all types of weather and are required to fit car seats undercover in rain, hail, or shine. Based at the Kidsafe Centre in Pearce. Some work at Mobile Services, parent groups and displays. Kidsafe Officers work both independently and as part of a small team with limited resources. Child safety is a serious business but we also pride ourselves on having a sense of humour and making Kidsafe a friendly place to work. About Kidsafe ACT Kidsafe ACT is a charity dedicated to helping parents, carers and the community prevent unintentional injuries to children. It's a scary thought that so many of our children are being injured when nearly every accident is preventable.
